For many years it had been in my heart to create something truly special. I got together with another artist one day and started discussing some ideas. I showed him the Looking Wolf Flute set that I had developed years ago and told him that I would like to make a flute set that was even more amazing that this flute set but that was also used Northwest Coast Art imagery.

I wanted the Eagle to be the totem of the flute set. Eagle is a powerful totem, mostly because Eagle communes directly with Creator.

The artist went away that day with some rough ideas. But came back to me with a nearly complete concept drawing. It was incredible! However, there was a little something missing. Inside the Eagle is a person in the attitude of Prayer.

As the Flute Player plays one can imagine the prayers of the Player's prayers being carried on the wings of the Eagle to Creator.

Hand painted on the flute is a person kneeling in deep supplication to the divine. This person is melds with an Eagle, which is in full flight. The Eagle soars on the updrafts of fire and wind to deliver the appeals to the Creator of Sky, Earth, Water, and Life.

The Flute Set is a Flute Box that is also a flute stand.
