Scales are wonderful tools to help us grow in our ability to enjoy and play the Native American Flute. This page is designed to give you some scales to play. As you learn to play these scales, your ability to play a greater and greater variety of music will increase.

You can appraoch this page through the use of any of the scales presented. You need not start with the top and end with the bottom, though the most basic scale is presented first. Take them in the order that feels right to you.

It is recommended that you select one scale. Play this scale for two to five minutes a day for one week. This repeated play time will give you the muscle memory you will need to master each scale. When you master a particular scale, move on the the next one you would like to learn. Your playing will make huge jumps in creativity and enjoyment.
