In 2020, Julia was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has had successful treatment and is in good health today. We will be returning to Turkey for a short time so that she can get reconstruction surgery in May.

Hope - No One Fights Alone is in part an opportunity for us to raise resources for this surgery and also to create a donation for the National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund

This cancer experience has been a real eye opener. Those of you who have had cancer know how strange it is to recognize this in your own mind. How strange it is to learn to associate the word cancer with ones self.

We were fortunate to have a breast cancer awareness clinic here in Utah that helped diagnose Julia. Her successful recovery is due largely to the early catching of this cancer. Which we were able to accomplish with this Utah based free women's screening.

To this end Julia and I have become very sensitive to the needs of breast cancer awareness organizations for donations. Instead of a FOTM promo this month, we are donating 20% of the money raised through the sale of Hope - No Body Fights Alone to the National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund.
