Flute Wood: Black Locust Wood
Trim Materials: Purpleheart, Copper

Here in the west, Black Locust is one of the trees that beautifies our cities. In town, you can see Locust trees the pioneers planted along the streets. Today, many of these trees are beginning to die and are being replaced. A friend of mine is the Arborist for the town we live near. When a tree must come down, he lets me know and we occasionally use the wood from these old trees. This Black Locust is one of these trees.
